New ignition?

After watching a show where they were rebuilding an old Chevy Nova and the host mentioned it, I was cruising through the Summit Sport Compact catalog and noticed a bunch of different ignition options (mostly MSD). I was just wondering if anyone has tried this or thought about it. I just ordered some Denso plugs and will be getting the Magnacore wires, and I was thinking that upgrading the entire ignition system was an option. What does everything think?

Ah. I suppose searching beforehand would've been a good idea. Thanks for the answer!

How about any way to upgrade the coils??? thats just off the top of my head, i was just thinking because if you upgrade the wires than two of the cylinders will have more spark than the others, or am I wrong thinking this (i'll do a search in a sec.. and when i find hte answer myself ya'll can just kick me thanks)

Check out Nology.com, they are local in San Diego, and they have awesome handmade wires, custom if needed, plus coil amps. I used the coil amps on a 1996 Kawasaki ZX-7R and it cleaned up the midrange a lot.... I also had the wires on it at the time... Anyway, great bunch of guys there, and they have come up with a kit to mount our coils on a special bracket, then have equal length wires running from each coil to the plugs!! They're testing on local Evos right now.... James

There is a turbo lancer here from Puerto Rico that totally removed the coils and ran 4 wires to the plugs through an ignition system. You'd need to be running the AEM EMS to get it to read and run correctly I believe.

I'm not sure how the EMS handles its basic ignition setup. If I remember correctly it's a pretty simple "install wizard" type thing, but I set mine up for the second time about a month ago and I can't rightly remember anymore.
