OBX pulley vs RRM pulley
I have the K&N drop in filter as well, but was on the fence about the RRM Timing Control box. Aside from the reviews on the RRM website, I wasn't able to find a review. Nice to see someone with positive results from that unit.
For the messy weather, I leave the sprint booster on green. That's my threshold for fun with low grip

Though a con would be using higher octane to run with the RRM timing box. The biggest con though is the milage/km per gallon/litre seems to have taken a hit. It looks like I get less km per fill up. I would say around 5% worse on fuel economy (on higher octane) so half the tank gone in up to 250km mostly city.
i also have the RRM timing controller, i wouldnt say its worth the money although u do see a pretty decent gain. if you can find it one ebay like me (i got it for around ~100$) then by all means get it, btw the OBX pulley is still doing fine, nothing has gone wrong and ive put around 2k miles on the car with the pulley on.

Have you noticed a milage hit like I did with the timing control box? I am having trouble hitting the advertised fuel economy listed for the Lancer GTS 2.4L of 9.9L/100km city and 7.4L/100km highway CVT. With the box driving like a gentlemen I get 10.5/100km usually for city and 8.5L/100km after a long highway run. But then again these cars weren't winning any economy awards to begin with.
