Header and downpipes

So who all out there makes headers and downpipes for the 2.4 ralliart? Only two I have found is Road race and OBX racing. Im thinking about getting the OBX S.S, slightly cheaper, I dont have to pay another $200 for them to make a header and downpipe unlike RRM, they want another $200 on top of what it normally cost because they don't make them in the quantity they used too. Obx looks well made. opinions?http://www.sparktecmotorsports.com/h11077s.html

For a bunch of steel pipe I wouldn't pay what RRM asks for their headers and pipe.

Yea, thats why I'm tryin to find an alternative. Cuz the original price for RRM is like $350. And I emailed them about making me a set since it is out of stock on the store page. They said it would be another $200 for a one off production for me.

If I could go back I would have either gotten RRM's or made my own, I would. Our header is pretty free flowing as is, but the downpipe is a POS. OBX set-up offers no sound insulation because it is so thin, so it sort of sounds like you have a leak when there isn't. If you polish up your stock headers and ceramic coat them they could look pretty cool.

RRM's header and downpipe are $600, where are you getting $350 from? That would be a decent price for headers...

Clean up the stock ones, have them ceramic coated. It flows better than the aftermarket stuff. Then get a muffler shop to replace the crushed section of the stock exhaust under the crossmember and your golden.

One of my plans this summer is the fab a connection from my stock header to my OBX Downpipe and use that. Maybe after I paint the new house

I will make sure to post it up if I do.
