Forged internals, drop compression to 8.8:1 or 9.0:1 and boost 1.5 bar all day. No biggie. Well...with the proper fuel flow of course.

Yes 20psi. Like I said before probably and this will most definitely be the limit and I will probably more likely run somewhere between 10-15psi daily, but maybe 20 at the track. It is entirely possibly with an engine build. Like Hobie said it depends on fuel and once we start tuning we will see how it goes. I was only stating 20psi as the extreme that I would see.

Either way, I will be running a F.A.S.T. computer with a RPW turbo kit. If I remember correctly the RPW pistons are 9.0:1, but they could be 8.6:1, I will have to ask Dave again. The pistons will also be coated on the top and skirts for added safety and RPWs turbo head gasket. Crower rods, strengthed and polished crank, with everything balanced. There are more little things here and there plus the head stuff, but I will do a full list of everything on a post once everything is up and running. All the internals went to the machine shop today so there is still awhile to go. Wish me luck, hopefully all will go well.

I will hopefully be able to get the part number for the oil cooler I am using by monday or tuesday and I will post it on here at that time.

I was looking at my emails from Dave and he said that with the decompression head gasket I will be running 8.5:1 compression.

And a valve job. That's really all there is to it. If you have the fuel, there's really very little holding back higher boost levels. I intend to be pushing AT LEAST 1bar when I'm done with my car, and tt shouldn't cost me very much more once my internals are redone.

Yeah it is getting a stage two Port and Polish with 3 way valve job RPW stage two turbo cam, valve springs, and adjustable cam gear. I fear my injectors, although larger than stock, will be a little to small, but Dave at RPW wants to see how tuning goes before going to larger ones. Also the GT-28 turbo may not like 20psi all that well. Yes it can theoretically handle it, but it may start spooling pretty high and pushing hot air. AS you can see still a lot of little things to nail down, but RPW has been moding 4G93s for years so I have tons of faith in Daves knowledge and my guys putting everything together build turbo cars everyday. They are very confident that 20psi is very possible.

A flex-a-lite oil cooler is being used on my car with a peterson fluid systems adapter. It may be possible to hook it up without the adapter. Unfortunately I can't look at everything b/c it is at the shop that is taking care of my engine build and they are the ones installing the cooler at the same time. Plus the shop is a few hundred miles away. Either way it is more than possible and for anyone running turbo who can spare the cash it is a nice way to get some extra safety and life from your engine.
