what is everyone getting for gas mileage?
Pure city mileage 20-25mpg... i don't count it cause frankly... gas prices are depressing enough as it is that i don't want to see a consistent sub- 30 mpg fuel economy figure. But im ok with that... cause i didnt buy this cvar with fuel economy on the top of my list.
Is yours 5 speed or auto?
is that what the little computer in the middle of the cluster said? Because if so don't always believe it cause they lie and number's change drastically. But then again I see you drive a ES which would make that a smaller engine,I think. In the city I run about 24ish to 28ish just depends on time of year and traffic. It helps that my car JUST hit 900 mile's on the cluster too

O ya and I drive a 5 speed and shift like a granny,sometimes,(3 rpm-3 1/2rpm) when not trying to accelerate quick or when I try to conserve gas...being a college student and all.
the computed MPG on the dash on these have proved to be VERY accurate, there was a thread in the evo x section comparing the average MPG to the actual MPG and the furthest off was by .4 miles. this was done by resetting it before taking a short/long trip from start to finish, not including starting up and turning off and what not.
yes... very accurate... i can show you a picture of me getting 60+ mph.
lol. but that was actually the trip(houston-san antonio) i got a lil over 27 average. ive been getting 25-26 since the temps dropped but thats more so highway. 1960 and 45(dayton-humble-spring) and was hitting a few redlights. also all this is on regular unleaded... i seem to never fill her up with premium before big trips XD

gas mileage with reflash
Hi: i have a 2009 lancer gts 2.4 my mods are RRM Header, CAI, Greedy Exhaust, RRm pulley and computer reflash ( stock computer tuned) and average of 34 mpg, but in a long trip i have seen 40+ on 93 octane shell fuel
Maybe on a ECONOMY TUNED SETTING. But not on any racing or street tune. I know how to some what tune ECU's.
I've been learning has I go for about 6 months now and research of course on the internet and the performance shop right down the street from my home, which has the fastest EVO in Texas....8.9 in the 1/4 n I think he had a boost leak at that
People should not be using the fuel mileage in the display. Its optimistic by 2-3mpgs.
Also, some people are using different MPG ratings... Europe and USA use different MPGS.
I hand calculated my last tank... on 45 liters i got 372kms... which is 19.4MPG or 12.1 L/100kms... 100% city driving. Also is during the winter which destroys fuel mileage. I didnt buy this car for fuel mileage so i am ok with it
Winter gas and temps kill fuel mileage anywhere between 2-5 mpgs depending on how cold it is.
