I've got a 2009 lancer gts 2.4 ... and I get about 27-30mpg, and like everyone else, city driving is horrible .. but isn't it horrible for almost all vehicles?...stop-start-stop-start...lol. just saying.

You are correct my friend. I go to UTI currently I learned it basic engine and in almost all my classes they always say stop and go traffic (city traffic) make's the most damage to your car NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF CAR YOU HAVE AND EVEN WORSE FOR THE SUPER CAR'S LIKE THE NISSAN R35 and such.

Yup I use shell or Wal-mart lol 93 octane all day and it's much better than regular 87

I'll be taking a trip from Houston to San Antonio tomorrow/today night I'll see what I get the best I've had is 28 mpg all highway for 285 miles and take's half a full tank.

Mex-I m running just unleaded fuel for now I plan to get tuned for performance soon enough. Theres a sweet spot on the accelerator you have to find that helps with the mpg.

24-27 city and I mostly do city driving. I get around 280-300 for sport mode and d mode is 330-350 haha. I'm so used to sport mode cause of my exhaust but since price is higher now I guess I gotta use d mode now

I sometimes use 93 octane (Super) but right now the gas here in Houston is close to $4 for 93 so since I'm not running the car and it's just for gas saver cause I have a 5.3 V8 (LS4) Chevy Monte Carlo SS so I left it in my home town while I go to school

I'm kinda new the Mitsubishi E85 and tuning stuff
But by tuning for a bill you got better performance and gas mileage?

Ya that's an idea I have as well.
I don't see the point of putting 93 octane, being that gas is rising quickly everyday anyways,in a NA car plus no tune yet.
I know a tune will make your car run faster of course cause I have a little bit of knowledge for "Delta Force Stand Alone Tuner" that my friend has for his 2002 Ford F-150 extended cab and it HELP'S A LOT!!!!

what is making me think to ask is that when I fill my tank the read out on my dash says I have like 410 miles to go on the tank of gas and I never even come close to that on a tank.
thats crazy, i kno im posting in the wrong forum but i have an evo x gsr and i get like 23 city and like 28 highway (i have an ams cai, agency power catback, stage 3 clutch, and shom **** that doesnt matter like wheels and brake rotors) but i found it alot more efficient to not brake LMAO, due to the loss of kenetic energy. by that i mean u see a redlight, throw that bad boy to neutral and coast. does wonders for ur milage

I'm fairly new to that also, kinda hard to explain. but yes! just for a bill i got that. we road tune the car and flashed my ecu he fixed some things on the ecu and made my car more responsive at the same time more fuel efficient.

If YOU DON'T MIND ME ASKING.
DID YOU TUNE IT WITH YOUR OWN TUNER(LIKE YOU OWN ONE PERSONALLY) OR YOU WENT SOMEWHERE AND THEY DID IT FOR YOU?
