Smell of coolant but no overheat?

Hey,

I just did a 20 hour drive, and today when i drove rest of the 6-7 hours or so I seemed to smell coolant or something. My engine temperature never got high or anything, and it was kind of off and on,and i checked the reservoir and level looks to be same as before i started the 20 hour drive. any ideas? something to do with a long trip?

thanks

If there are no visual signs I would keep a close eye on it but other than that you can snoop around the engine bay for signs of coolant leaking.

same thing happened to me. It slowly got a leak, not a bad leak but its still a leak. Its been about 5 years and things break down I just ordered a megan radiator. I'll be putting it in when the snow melts Hopefully in a few weeks.

Might wanna also check the heater core. It should be behind the glove box up under the dashboard. If it took a couple hours on the highway I'd suspect a small, small leak in one of the connections or the core itself.
