Well today i started the evo x intake manifold swap. Things went really well, however there was a few surprises. The manifold bolts up just fine. However since the evo x does not use a external egr valve the intake has nothing to incorpate one. So i did a egr delete, using thick guage alum i made a block off plate. Coolant line needed to be re-routed and the coolant line on the water neck was plugged.stock fuel rail does not work so i used a evo x fuel rail. Project will be done once 6an line for fuel return arrives from summit racing. Pictures will be posted once comlete. Btw i did not go the 4g69 throttle body route. I went with a 65mm eclipse gt 3.8 throttle body and port matched the intake manifold. Thats roughly 15mm larger then stock should make quite a diffrence for the turbo guys.

He is MIA now, haha. He did my install back in November and his Lancer was gutted. He is working on an Eclipse now.
