will the 2.4 bolt up to the 2.0 tranny
Exactly what the topic says... I have to get a new engine and wondered if everything would fit and work the same... I was told it would and that the computer I have now will work for the 2.4.
Let me know please

Yeah I did lol.. well idk whats wrong with it. Just smokes real bad and lots of oil and some power loss. Repaired the turbo Nd didn't help. I'm guessing I either through a rod or a piston

if you threw a rod or piston your motor would more than likely have a hole in it, and wouldnt start up at all. You should just find another used 2.0 and send it off to get sleeved and build it.

i talk to dadgts about this already , the tranny and all the components bolted right on , the only problem that i have after my swap is that i have a cold start issue (needs tune) and my ac is not working , the belts are there and i can see the ac it self but i guess the dumb ****s that did the install forgot to plug it in i just didnt have time to check it yet
I've seen different engines in the 4G (4G63, 4G93 etc) be paired with boxes that were from other 4G engines. e.g. transplanting 4G63T into a CK4A Lancer (former 4G92) and using the box from the old engine, done because 4G63 came from 4WD evo and CK4A is FWD.
Providing engine codes will be helpful. Mitsubishi have a few 2.0s, 4g63, 4b11, 4g61
Ok, if the 2.4 is the 4g64 then I don't think it will unless you have a custom plate made. I've seen plates made to adapt a rotary engine to a 5 speed Subaru legacy box. And then I'm not sure the engine will line up properly with the box. Mind you I haven't tried it myself so I don't know, and anything is possible with enough time and money.
