what do you guys in the forum usually use to clean the intake manifold? i have the intake manifold off of the engine and has a lot of gunk inside. want to clean it from inside including the runners and outside.....

 

since you have it off take all the sensors and hoses, throttle body etc. off until you have just the manifold itself. If you have access to a parts washer that would be best. If not brake cleaner will clean the inside up nice
