hey guys, ive had the injen sri installed on my car for months now. i never put the snorkel back on bc the instructions never said to. has anyone used this setup? i can only see it lowering engine bay temp. the only concern i have is the stability of the part seeing as it will only be secured by the two front clips. thnx in advance.

 

Well i don't speak from experience but i have talked to people about different SRIs and RRM says to leave the snorkel on to direct cool air towards the intake so im under the assumption it would be a good thing. as to the stability its super light weight shouldn't be an issue.

How does the injen sound? im debating what to get. Notice any gains?

 

the injen sounds awesome. i notice the most gains in the 3000 to 4500 rpms range. i love the dry flow amsoil filter too. and btw i just got back from first day of drving with the snorkel back on, and i must say i felt quite a difference. only on the highway tho when air is being pushed through. im glad i put it back on! lol
