Post Need Help On Engine Swap

Hi I just bought a 2003 lancer oz and was wonder if I could swap in a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST engine in my 2003 Lancer OZ or any other engine that can handle a Turbo. If anyone have any information on this "Please Let Me Know."

Thank You...

The 4g94 can handle turbo.....do yourself a favor and search before you ask a question it prevents the angry side from coming out of people filling the boards with crap. There is even a sticky of one motor being swapped in this very cat you posted in.....

beef'n up the rods pistons and you shold be fine with a turbo'ed 4g94...or run stock internals on lower boost. a 99 eclipse motor is completely the opposite direction of your lancer. It sites 180 of your current motor. The evo or 2000+ eclipse 4g64 motor would be an easier swap.
