crappy header, question

oh and yes the downpipe did come with a flex pipe

you may als notice that I got the wrong rear brake lines, but that is another story

No, there isn't anything hanging off of it. but cranking the bolts tight to get that to seal is going to put a lot of stress on the welds where the flanges are.

hell yeah lmao, i was thinking the same thing and would of done the same thing. especially because i work in a machine shop. i woulda just threw it in a bridgeport and milled it flat. screw ebay and customer support

YES!!!


all the bolts go right through, and the flanges are "perfectly" straight!!!!!!
PS: side note the correct brake lines are coming in this weekend!

I just purchased a Ebay M2 header and it was perfect! I can't believe how good the welds are for $130 header and down pipe. So far good after a thousand miles.

i need to get a ext to be made cause i hear the mirage header is shorter or somthin from the stock lancer one... i got new gaskets and bolts to go in. and i gonna need to have a new o2 bunf welded on it too. im going to be taking measurments tomorrow for it cause i have a short shif for work 5-10am.. ill post a sep thread for it. im gonna paint it black with vht hitemp paint. ill head to exaust shop tomorrow to have it fabbed up

Do you get a code with those headers? Also do you have a high-flow cat in there?

I wanna put a new exhaust in my car but Ive been kinda of afraid I'll just get a code and wont pass emissions.

the code is easy to fix...if you do get it...just use stock cat and you'll be fine...

Which one? The headers have a cat and the there's the secondary cat. My question is could I use performance headers and use a high flow cat and not the get the code?

If I would still get the code would it be possible to just move the o2 sensor after the high flow cat instead of before? Would that work? sorry for all the questions
