for those who went the custom exhaust route, where did you get piping/hanging done and how much did they charge?

Local tuning shop, ran about $300 including the magnaflow muffler, another $150 to install the high-flow cat which I got done a few weeks later. I also believe that Meineke will do the cat-back for you but I'm pretty sure they won't touch the catalytic convertor due to federal regulations.

Cool. You didn't have to have the cat welded on? Or was this a test pipe type thing?

Just curious about the piping. Did you guys get mandrel bent piping at these prices or is it press bent?

Mine took about three hours, and that was due to the fact that the guy had three different exhausts being put on.

My cost for mandrel bent piping and a APEXi N1 with a custom beveled tip welded on was $200 even. Full catback.

Hmmm....In the waiting room I ended watching Dude, Where's my Car? in its entirety, an Import Car magazine video, and a Puerto Rican drag racing video...so I guess that would be about 4 hours...but that was with a wait and the shop said they were short-handed. Make sure you order your muffler in advance and by gawd, be the first one there!

Oh yes... I was lucky, they had plenty of my muffler in stock, and we had worked with them once before on another project, so, they were really cool, and hooked us up pretty quick, fast, and well. I was under the car with them for the most part. I think the origin of the parts was a little shady, if you catch my drift... might have fallen off the truck, after seeing the normal price of just an APEXi muffler.

Maybe it was from a truck that got hijacked by 3 Civics with harpoon guns!
