Spark plugs = Evo and Lancer

An Evo owner is interested in my Denso plugs. Will they fit both cars?

with the EVO being FI the plugs may likely not be a suitable application

Also they may NOT fit as their depth could be different. The gapping would also have to be correct.

Wish I could have seen that just a few days ago. I ordered the same plugs last week.

Sorry, I guess my question would be better put as "Would Denso iridium plugs of the IK 16 variety work in an Evo engine? Or would they cause problems?" He doesn't have his manual, so he can't look it up. I just don't want to rip him off with plugs that can't handle his engine.

And I'll restate again just for good measure...

Plugs do come in different lengths, if you put the wrong length plug into an engine it can cause serious problems... even to the point of interference with a piston.

so it is not a "Yeah they fit" regardless sort of thing.

And to answer, no, they don't fit. Too short and the wrong heat setting.

Well, in that case how much are you selling them for? I'll need another set in about a year
