13.0:1 4G94 Pistons from Wiseco!
That's a serious change in the compression ratio!
I recall you also posted about the Wilwood year disc conversion. You should create a thread and tell us more about the setup for your rally car.

That is my belief. Fortunately, we're located in the Midwest, E-85 is abundant. Actually there's a large distillery/refinery (whatever you want to call it) a few miles from here. With E-85 I have little concern of detonation at 13.0:1, I suspect if we have any issues it will be with the head gaskets. Hope not! Shooting for 180-200whp. A ambitious goal, but I don't think it's shooting for the moon either. Time will tell.

Well, if we can get it with spending less than $5k on the motor, we would be right on par with average forced induction set ups from a cost/gain's standpoint.
I'm not trying to replace turbo's, if it were not for rules and regulations, I would be simply slapping a 16G on my 4G94 and going with it too, but even that takes a built motor to perform well. I just think there ARE applications where N/A is a good way to, and it's gotten a bad rap here. I just hope I can prove it to be a viable option. The only thing the 4G94 has going for it is weight. It's very light among iron block motors. It also uses a well known stout but extremely light gear box. If in search of making power you add on 30lbs of Turbo, Intercooler, plumbing, and related bits, you've just lost a lot of what makes this platform appealing. IF I can make this work, I will have done it with a much lighter set up, and that will benefit me more than almost anything in a rally car.
PS, the interior of the car is 90% complete now, a big update with pictures is coming very soon!
