Post Need help

What's up everybody! New to this, got a 02' Lancer OZ and out a lot of work on the outside. Now onto the inside, any good ideas on what to mod on my engine? Don't want a lot of work done but looking to boost my HP up by like 50-70, let me know with any ideas! Thanks in advance

If you search around you will find that there is no real feasible way to increase HP on our little Lancers without a turbo kit.

Boosting could be your best bet. However, With enough bolt ons and mirage parts swaps with some Evo parts and a proper tune. Who knows. Im doubtful for those kind of gains but everyone, myself included, jumped on the boosting wagon Both routes are fun if you truly enjoy these cars.

Look up user Live4redline. He has a thread about building a NA lancer with bolt ons and processes some excellent tuning skills. Probably cheaper to go turbo. If your ever in need of turbo kit parts I might be willing to sell some.

Gotta agree with the previous two comments, if your looking for those types of HP increase, turboing would be the best bet. My 03 OZ Rally only hit those increases after I had it turbo'd. I could be wrong but i highly doubt you can get that kind of increase simply by adding a few bolt-ons without either doing a swap or turbo. The 4G94 does have potential but not standing alone.

Boosting is pretty much your only bet for that kind of a jump in hp. If money is not an issue you could do it na with high compression pistons and ALOT of machine work but thats gonna cost you way more that I would be willing to bet you want to spend certainly 2-3x the cost of boosting it for the same gains.
