Is this the right magnaflow catback for our car?

Is this the new catback that maganaflow jsut came a out with that is a full catback adn not just an axelback? Also i just got the rrm nonic turbo from another member here so should i get a 2.25" or a 2.5" exhaust?

Yes, that is the new Magnaflow catback. As for pipe sizing, opinions vary from 2.25" to 2.5". Generally, the higher you boost, the bigger exhaust piping you want to go. I don't see any sort of forced induction application for our car that calls for more than 2.5" piping.

I would. The faster you can get the exhaust gas out, the faster you spool up.

ok. most lancer owners get the 2.25 so ive never seen anything else. is there a company that makes a full 2.5 catback for the lancer?

buschur racing makes a full 2.5" catback for the lancer. fits perfectly, sounds great and does improve performance. buschur has atually done a dyno with their lancer parts as well

what kind of muffler do they use and what size tip? i like the magna one bc its got hte double wall and it is only 3.5 inches unlike the giant greddy ones. or you couldnt just give me the link the site. thanks

if u just went turbo i would go 2.5" i think most people you see with the 2.25" are like myself who have basic bolt ons with no tubo so they dont have a need to go bigger than 2.25" but i would definatly not go bigger than 2.5 even with a turbo.

ok really how much does the extra .25" make? is it really worth it to spend a couple hundred more on buschur instead of magna?
