Debadging gone wrong..

Well the car is old and I successfully removed a sticker, and all the emblems, hoping for a clean shaved look. But what I've come to it outlined letters and I'm not sure if I want to wet sand or not. I found a wingless trunk lid same color in a partout, I'm thinking about driving down to get it tomorrow.

Anyone know how to remove a trunk lid? I'm sure it can't be too hard honestly. But still, such a headache.

If it's like the Evo then removing the trunk lid is easy. Remove the stuff the latch if you need it for the new one and then it's literally 4 bolts. However, you might be able to just fix the one you got with a polisher and some cutting compound.

do not use simple green on your clearcoat. use 3M adhesive remover or even goo gone, but no simple green or you will be repainting your trunk
