Nana gone bad

Question Nana gone bad

i have an 02 lancer oz rally and my timing belt went out i have replaced fuel pump and relays tune up and it still wont fire sounds like its gonna but doesnt i did a compression test #1- 155PSI #2- 155PSI #3- 140PSI #4- 150PSI does it sound like its a crank or cam sensor or piston smack the valve can anyone tell me what i should try to check

Double Check the timing belt and make sure you aren't off a tooth or so. If that's good, make sure you plugged everything back in. If all checks out, good chance you bent a valve

Assuming you did the compression test after you did the timing belt I dont think you have a bent valve. That would severely drop the compression on 1 or more cylinders. Usually drops to zero or very close to since the valve no longer seals.

That being said I am with this^^ guy check your timing marks and all your electrical connections. If you can scan the vehicle and check for any trouble or pending codes.

im gonna rip that side back down in the morning but how can i check the crank and cam sensors.

Unless they are physically damaged the only way to know if there is an issue with them is if you scan your vehicle.

Ok that's right it would pop a code if they went out what do you think would be the best way to hold the harmonic balancer still

Use an impact gun to get the crank pulley bolt off. Gonna save you lots of time and potential damage.
