Cam sensor based on Casting Number?

Can anyone tell me what cam sensor will work with a reman head I am buying? I'm only asking, as I've had Rockauto sensors not work with the current 4g93 head I have...and can't find a stupid casting number on my existing block...probably on the intake side, just to be special.

The one I am looking at is a G6 E2 casting. Any help? They say it will work with 93-2000 models...I never trust sellers though, rather get some input from the forum gurus

I'm also wondering if Rockauto has sensors saying they're for the 1.8L, and they're actually for the 4g15 head...
