Catback/Axleback Exhaust
Catback/Axleback Exhaust
I can see the veterans rolling their eyes right now saying. "Hey, look. This thread again." But I'm gonna try to put a twist on it.
So I got an '09 Lancer ES (FED) and I want to put an cat-back on it. I know there's a few nice ones out there. Normally I am 99% function over form when it comes to these things but I'm kinda wanting to make a dual exit 'cuz it's sexy. My plan is to run 2.5" piping.
The muffler I plan to use is the Camaro-style universal from Magnaflow with custom tips (#12266 (https://www.magnaflow.com/02product/...=main&id=11429). It is a single 2.5" inlet with dual 2.25" outlets.
I figure that with the single inlet and relatively small outlet diameters and the fact that I am keeping my stock cat (for now), I should be ok on the whole "dual-exhaust causing low pressure" issue. But I want to know if this seems like a solid idea or pure stupidity.
