Hey i was wondering what the best cam and header any one has found, the only peoplei tlaked to online that put new a new header on their lancer seemed to choke performance more than enhance it. So please help me out.

Seeing as how I haven't seen a single aftermarket cam I'd say stock without hesitation. As for a header...I haven't read anyone complaining about hampering performance, but I have read of CEL's going off across the board. That'll happen when you remove your primary catalytic converter. That may help a little.

 

Ayup...no aftermarket cam gears, cams, valve springs, lifters, etc. Shame...no head parts means no go fast. As for the header yeah, removing that first cat isn't a good thing but hey, such is the sacrifice for speed. If you want, try to get into contact with Crower, Crane and RPW (especially, they need guinea pigs) to see if you can get some cam options.
