Engine Torque Damper
True, when I had my car dynoed, you would have thought the engine was flip upside down inside the hood. It moved at least an inch when running the test, and an inch the other way after releasing the throttle. And that's just a NA Lancer with 110 whp.

DAmn did u feel the need to post that reply 6 times?...hah...The dampener has the same effect as Filling the mounts i think its a much better alternative...first off becuase its easily removable, adjustible, and doesnt create the vibration assosiated commonly with filling the mounts...

Nice quintuple repost, Brian.
BTW, for those of you who haven't beein in a Lancer with motor mounts, you'd be amazed how it changes the acceleration characteristics. baha, I think you'd be surprised too. The difference is night and day.
EDIT: Btw, doesn't that design put a lot of stress on the passenger side shock tower, and the point where it bolts to the motor? Awesome idea, (though I've said this before in older threads) but I think the design is a little weird. Maybe it's just me.

Since you are good at fabricating metal, you could quite make a good money out of making engine dampers like this? Let me know if you can, I definitely would be one of your first buyers.
