I recommand you guys to get a engine damper for your Lancer as it slightly reduce power loss:

i have both front and rear firm motor mounts on my car right now, and let me tell you, fwp = gone, and damn does the car vibrate, if you don't think a turboed G94 doesn't freakin torque, well then, i assume you never saw one

before my car was operating 100% even at like 60% on the dyno it torqed a lot, and the front mount is the most important, rear isn't too necessary, but damn, its tight

Yeah is it reallt worth it with an engine that's making 130 tq at the crank? The only time my car shakes at all is when the engine is shutting down. Maybe the turbo guys will find this useful, but it says it's for a '98 Lancer, is that even close to the '02 USDM?

go with the front mount from deyeme, it eliminates wheel hop 100% which is a problem with turbo guys, i dunno about you urban, but you are close to one of the most advanced suspensions on a lancer and myself (as far as i know), and it does tighten things up nicely, it smooths out the front of the car a lot, and stiffens the back too

bahamut, i know where your coming from, my shop is 95% hondas with custom turbos+ nos (500hp+ tunes), they weld their OWN mounts then i got my friend and his dad who have 400+ turboed mustangs and 500+ vettes, i seen it all, but we're talkin about the lancer here, just talking about other cars aint gonna help

but trust me, a front mount is all you really need, not too expensive, and not too hard to install, its a pretty good investment, if your turboed, i don't mean you never saw a turboed lancer, i mean, have you seen a turboed lancer engine shifting, and most people don't, you only see it on dynos, so im just saying, that thing friggin jumps

I know that I can't get motormounts, but I think I'm allowed to use "a single bolt on torque supression device" I'll have to check the rules to make sure. Still not sure if I would find it useful, and still not sure this fits the 02/03 USDM

Technically, the front "mount" is really just an isolator, since it doesn't hold up the drivetrain while at rest...

I dont know i can rip my tires off pretty good. so for those who dont think a lancer can light em up, i invite you to come rid with me. i have been in many turbo lancers and we can all get em smokin. I know I will be getting the front mount from dyeme.

Welp all i can say is this post was all wrong about this thing...anyway it wont fit a Lancer since they only make them for the Mirage and a few other cars...but its made a huge differnece in my car...acceleration feels much more responsive...and it minimized the rocking of the motor to about 1/4" over all...also it causes no vibrations i havnt had a chance to really put it down hard yet but shifting also feels much better....great part if it does become made for your cars you should consider getting one...here are my photos

if you don't think that the little bit of torque does anything in our cars then lift the hood and get someone else to start the car while you watch, the motor will move a couple inches easy, and when you rev it too...but you can just fill the front and rear mounts with urethane and it eliminates that, plus gets rid of the wheel hop but at the cost of extra vibration throughout the car...it does help you hook up better though, i can lay rubber going into 2nd now and once into 3rd
