2002 OZ Rally header and downpipe question

I bought a srs catback about a month ago and they also sell a header and downpipe for my car. Is it worth buying? Am I gonna notice any performance or sound difference?

If that's what you get In the pic, looks like they made the downpipe to eliminate the catalytic converter all together. The piece you see on the downpipe is a flex pipe to prevent the manifold and exhaust from cracking during engine movement. Looks like they have a bung in the pipe for your o2 sensor. You would need to get a check engine eliminator or make one if you don't want your engine light on.

Technically it shouldn't pass a visual inspection for not having a catalytic converter. No one ever fails me in PA for it.

I had the header from Roadracemotorsports.com I live in Latrobe. You need the eliminator because the stock manifold has a cat in it. The downstream o2 sensor needs a spacer installed so the voltage drops a certain amount. If not it trips the light. I went turbo now. If you ever want, I would be happy to help you out. Can't find anyone around here modifying lancers

That's awesome dude. How much did the turbo kit cost? Should I just go with the OBX?

I think it was $4200. After knowing what I know now. I could probably do everything for 2k.

Yeah I'd get it, if that's what you want. You have an exhaust on it too?
