Question Engine oil?

okay, I hope I dont start a fight over this, becasue some people seem to dislike this brand. Yesterday I changed my oil at the 3000 mile mark (well the 15,000 mile mark) to amsoil 0w-30 seires 2000. If you care to look here is the link. Now, my question is... has anyone used this brand of oil before? Is it "all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips", which it claims to be? I havent ran a take of gas with it yet so I do not know what the gas milage is going to be with it, all I know is that the engine seems to run more quiet and it seems a bit more responsive. Let me know what you guys think!

Only one question: why are you using oil of such a low thickness?

well from my understanding, 0w-30 is good for year round driving. W stands for winter, so in cold temperatures the oil will be around 0 weight, but in the summer it acts like a 30 weight oil. I was going to try it out because its sapposed to help with MPG. I'll prob just run it for 3000 miles and go back to mobil 1.

W stands for weight i tell you on the bottle probably and if not there in the mitsu owners manual if you live were it is hot and dont get incredibly cold (anywere but -0 ) you should use SAE aproved 10w-30 30 being weight and 10 being viscosity (sp?) unless it get s belowe 0 at times then use 5w-30 i use 5w-30 it dont get that cold that often in jersey

Please read this LINK

Multi viscosity oils work like this: Polymers are added to a light base (5W, 10W, 20W), which prevent the oil from thinning as much as it warms up. At cold temperatures the polymers are coiled up and allow the oil to flow as their low numbers indicate. As the oil warms up the polymers begin to unwind into long chains that prevent the oil from thinning as much as it normally would. The result is that at 100 degrees C the oil has thinned only as much as the higher viscosity number indicates. Another way of looking at multi-vis oils is to think of a 20W-50 as a 20 weight oil that will not thin more than a 50 weight would when hot.
