Of course they have upgraded the fuel and running right but I know for sure a guy with the 4G93 running a 75 shot with ease. And there was one guy in California, in the weak 4G15 engine that ran a 100 shot (with dyno slips to boot) and did not adversely affect his engine. Of course, I am close friends with one guy who we call 1000 shot and blew his motor but that was an extreme.

But the beginning of this trhead said it all. Do the search and see what you can do to run NOS safely (and IMO, it does not have to forged internals).
There are alot of cars out there that can run nitrous safely and with ease providing serious HP gain. I ran the ZEX kit with a 55 shot and it was great for a long time, I loved it, especially with the trigger hooked up to the throttle position ssensor, no buttons to push. It was a awesome performance jump in the 4g94, and I disagreed with everyone who said they blew there motor running nitrous. Then one day--POP- blew piston number two up! The ring lands are two close together on the 4g94. If I am not mistaken even withthe JE Forged Piston upgrade, you are still just buying time. From what I have heard, they do not hold up to nitrous either, maybe just a little longer. I have enclosed a picture of what nitrous will do to the 4g94, this a pic of piston number two, what you dont see is the bent valves-and the thousands of little pieces of piston that was scattered throughout my motor!
