2003 lancer oz cam???

Trying to find an aftermarket cam i bought the adjustable cam sprocket but i want to upgrade the internals too. what i have so far is cold air, ngk spark plug wire, 4-2-1 headers an down pipe hks muffler. As soon as i can ill take a video of it pulling on the highway it's pulling hard more so than you would want to believe. but that being said if you have any idea were i can find a cam for it let me know heres a video of the motor right now.

Yes im tunning, My buddy programs the piggyback. I do the wrench work but... I really need to find an upgraded cam. Its hard enough finding parts, but its a fun car to work on. I will not go turbo on this motor its pointless an a waste of money. The compression from the turbo wont last long on this motor the cylinder walls are too thin to hold much boost. Plus i want to see how far i can tune this thing going n/a.

so another question would be would the 4g93 cam work with the 4g94 motor. They same to match pretty well.

Pushing 12 pounds of boost here..... NA is a waste of money in my opinion. I've seen people go all out on NA (forged internals, cams, etc.) and gain 15 horse power. I'm on stock internals and making 227whp and 219trq.

The 4g93 cam will work. You'll need to see which mirage year to get it from though.

gains

the funny thing i read on here is the gains, just by doing a complete exhaust, headers to muffler an cold air i gained about 10hp. Then after a good tune with the exhaust an such 16hp. Then with the timing sprocket we gained a total of 18hp.
I have nothing against turbo but it depends on the drive..... Like me i have heavy foot. An i run hard alot an im sure the cylinder wall would rupture

I've done a virtual dyno run with exhaust and sri and only made 5whp. I did it right before I went turbo. Even then it was nothing to brag about. I couldn't feel a difference in gain. My car did get louder and more annoying though. Exhaust had a gutted cat as well.

you don't have MIVEC so you could always just get a regrind done...also your attitude toward forced induction is wrong, you'll blow your pistons apart before you rupture any cylinder walls...lots of people run boost in n/a cars with no issues...other than snapping stock axles in half while launching with slicks on... I've been running 14psi of boost through a 4G69 for 3 years now...I race 1/4 mile and auto cross all the time...and my daily commute to work involves a 1/2 mile pull on a major highway...I wouldn't tune a turbo setup with a piggy back by any means, but don't go around thinking a little boost will blow your motor...if the tune is good, it'll be fine...knock/detonation kills motors, not boost.
