so when u push 9-11 psi through RRM dont you think you'll yield similar or better results? plus tq numbers will be a little better on a turbo vs sds cuz the belts rob from the engine.

ill belive 275 hp from ripp mods super charger when i. . . wait a minut ill never belive that. there is no way they are gettin those kind of number on the super charger with stock internals on a low boost number like 9 - 10 psi out of a device that uses power to make power. im sorry but even fi there was a dyno sheet posted ont eh forums id have to insist i was standing next to the car when it was being dynoed to belive that. say what you will or call me what you like but that is not belivable, nor possible

Im taking a philosophy class in college which teaches logics and good / bad reasoning. The numbers RIPP is putting out and claiming you can acheive is just an empty promise to get you to buy the supercharger... I ain't falling for any stupid tricks like that. I wouldnt even believe a lancer can put out these kinda numbers with stock internals EVEN if I was standing right next to it at the dyno.

Superchargers are better for instant power because they run off a belt so are constantly running. Turbos need time to reel up since they run of the exhaust gasses

yea ans since they run off the belts thay add lots more rotating mass and drag to engine thus efectivle aking some of the "extra power" and throwing it right in the trash

edit: on another note turbo chargers hit full power much sooner then super chargers do

Superchargers are just a pain in the *** overall... #1 they are mainly for bigger displacement V6 and V8 engines since they use torque to make power. The smaller displacement engines really cant make as much torque as say a domestic muscle. #2 they dont boost as high as turbo's can. #3 even though they dont have turbo lag, they are pretty weak in terms of power outputted. Turbos can hit full power in as little as 1500 RPM if the right size is chosen. #4 they are incredibly expensive and also extremely high maintenance. Those belts are a pain in the *** to deal with.

So overall the turbo is more efficient for the money, power and size of the car. I rest my case.

yeah...just cuz the supercarger's always running doesn't mean its running at full boost...there's no "turbo lag" per say, but its still running off of rpms...
