Hi !
Have a lancer 2006 trouble shooting
When heat gage reaches half way the car shuts off prior to this the vehicle had no power climbing up hills and it could not climb at all if the aircon was on.
why could this be happening also just fitted alternator and oil lamp will not switching off.
Any suggestions?

When you noted heat gauge, what gauge exactly (water temp, oil temp, dash light?). Is there an active check engine light on? If so, we need the code read & that will help
Sounds like the engine or transmission is going into a limp mode when getting hot
Also, Which exact Lancer do you have?
