Looks like RRM has AEM stuff in for US Lancer!! CAI. I have intake already but you guys that keep wanting CAI, AEM is better than INJEN for sure!

http://www.aempower.com/pdf/results/...ancerOZCAS.pdf <---and AEM was kind enough to dyno test it.

Funny, there's a huge drop in power right before peak torque hits (4250) but climbs steadily from there. Awkward HP spike though right before that point.

We have them if you want them. It is up on the site along with some other new stuff. Wish Ijen would post some numbers. They won't though. I personally don't see proportionate benefit of CAI, but many of you asked for it so we have it. More is just more ??? Nice kit though!

No dyno but datalogged lancer with stock intake and our Short Ram. We did five pulls each as exact to each other as possible. Our intake averaged .75 seconds faster 0-60mph. No one else wants to try it. I am waiting. Always willing to please a *****.

Are the HP/TQ gains from a CAI more impressive than, say, replaceing the OEM filter with K&N? Numbers are (obviously) more impressive than "...big improvement", "my friend said...", "my AEM is way better than stock".

ROCK- when you say that you clocked a 0.75s drop in 0-60 time, were you comparing stock intake and filter againts RRM's short ram and cylinder filter? Have you duplicated this test using one of the AEM's vs. short ram?

A drop in panel filter is simply designed as a longer life (and albeit cheaper) replacement for the stock filter, not a real performance upgrade. It's still going to have to troll air through the convoluted intake path of the stock setup.

Have not tried with AEM. Only Lancer we have is Turbo and other one is in a million pieces in the shop.

Pjal hit it right. Panel is going to have to troll air through the convoluted intake path of the stock setup.
