ughhh.. Dammit. O.K. Here goes for the last time. Regardless of wether or not it gets wet, with a K&N filter, (or just about any other reputable filter) your intake will not allow water to pass through safe it isn't submerged, these filters are coated with an oil based lube that repels water quite nicely. Don't sweat it unless submersion is a possiblity, if it is AEM makes a bypass valve. Sweet dreams

I think I am going to go with the short intake, but which is better RRM or RMR?

Why the RRM? Looking at them it does not look like the RRM has the heat shield that goes all the way around, and also the RMR seems to use your stock intake from the front to help get cooler air.
Please let me know if I am wrong.

Why does no one consider the Buschur intake? It replaces the stock TB/MAS piping (no more plastic crap) and it looks a whoooole heck of a lot nicer than the other two.

cause they never once stopped in here to say whattup to us pj. look at filter size as well btw the two short rams. I love RRM as much as the next guy but the RMR intake is by far the best product they offer, and reasonably priced too. makes a killer sound.
