new to nitrous please help

ok what kind of nitrous system is there that only sprays according to how much throttle you give it.

i saw a thing about it on TV and all you do is turn the valve and open the bottle but there is no "go fast button" it automatically sprays at full throttle through all the gears
it was a stage 3 kit with a 3lb bottle it gave the car like 70hp without bothering the engine

who knows the name of this kit or what kind of kit it is so i can find it on the web somewhere
Or maybe the name of a company who makes
well any info would be helpful
it sounds like fun when i get my internals

if u dont want things broken in your engine, replace the piston and piston rod with some forged piston and piston rod..those are the two weakest point of this engine..but either way i still dont recommend any kind of nitrous for this engine

Too many people have blown the Lancer's engine with nitrous. I recommend staying away from it. Same story every time. "It was ok with 100 octane then when I was cruising down the street on 87 gas this Mustang GT pulled up next to me..."

Yeah I was thinking of this too, but it's to unstable. Never know what's going to happen. Maybe I'll buy an old civic and blow the engine through the hood. Just for fun.

Quick summary:

Lancer + NO2 = death to 4G94 internals.

We add this equation to the lack of answers.

Therefore, it can be assumed that:

We don't know.

Yeah I there is nitrous where you spray it on your CAI, intercooler, radiator etc....... I don't think that is as much dangerous but I'm not sure.

jesus. The guy's asking a simple question, whats wrong with running a small shot of NOS? If a turbo system can be only runned with 6-7 psi on stock internals, then why not run the equivalent to NOS. say a 25-35 shot.

that would not be the equivalent. an equivalent would be like a 70-90 shot, and then boom and tears.

I dont know NOS - so im not going to attempt to answer that question with a false answer, but I am going to say is that, our egines are week, thats why we run such low PSI numbers on stock internals. NOS is cool and fun and fine, if you have the proper upgrades.

If you want to run NOS - go for it, dont let us stop you, just listen to what people have to say and why they would/would not do it to their car. If he wants NOS he will do it regaurdless what everyone tells him.
