Turbos

Hi, newbie here with a question about turbos. Saw this sweet RPW stage 2 turbo at visionimports.com. Going over the details, it says that if I want to run at 10 psi, I will need an intercooler (which I already found) and a decompression plate. What is a decompression plate, what does it do and where can I get one?

I plan on doing some serious mods before I get the turbo. (new cam, valve springs, pistons, rods, throttle body, intake manifold, and headers)

Current mods done: 17 inch wheels, lowered 1.8 inches, catback exhaust, racing spark plug wires, body kit

decompression plate is like a thick head gasket, basically to reduce cylinder pressure. Not sure where you can get one, my guess would be RPW sells one.

You may also want to look at road race motorpsports they have a stage 2 kit as well

www.roadracemotorsports.com

there are some dyno's on this site of that kit. Either way make sure you beef up those internals before you try 10 psi.
