Eh...check his registry. It doesn't look as fast as it is but it's not really a sleeper anymore.

You wanna go tc or na? I'm na for now but goin tc next year. If you got the money go tc, if not, change your intake, headers and get a catback. Good simple start.

i love the sleeper idea. There is this one rice rocket lancer by my house, who wont join these forums, and its all show, with a muffler and it gives us a bad name.

But with the sleeper, people are like, haha thats a slow *** car, then u just hand them there *** (if you have nice mods )

That is kind of the approach am takingalso, im not doing any, exterior work, besides rims and new suspension, but that is after turbo, then IC and some nice big brakes. Hopefully have the new rims after all that crap by the end of summer

GOod luck with your sleeper idea, and whether you wnat to stay N/A or go turbo/supercharger, there are plenty of options and routes you can take to make your car fast.

putting an IC on will not make you a sleeper anymore... sleeper looks stock all around!

Cover it with grille mesh. You'd still be suprised how many people don't know what an intercooler is anyway.

Boe ain't a sleeper anymore. You see it, you know what's going down.

Hobie has a strong point. Lots of people have no idea what an intercooler is. They just think it's a lower radiator or something.

Lancer is definitely a good car to make a sleeper. If you have a Civic, they expect you to put work in it, but most Lancers are just grocery getters.

someone told me you can get your I/C (adonized or anodized) black.. or something like that.. so basically you have a black intercooler.. then put the black grillmesh over it and your good to go!

im sure you could get your IC black if you wanted, anything is possible if you got $$$ to pay for it, haha.

Ya, plus if you have a stock body, no kit or anything, people wont be looking for an intercooler. I know i never look there, even when i hear a muffler, just because there not that noticable unless you have a huge front bumper with a huge opening for one.
