Installing Greddy cat back

Anyone have any tips? I have a EVO 2 cat back that should be here tuesday. I'm planning on backing the car up on to ramps for the process. Any tips to ease the job would be great.

should be an easy install just make sure that you have yourself some wd-40 or pb blaster ( which i prefer ) to loosen the bolts to the cat because.. they sometimes can be a pain in the butt, also u might as well spray the cat bolts a day before your going to do the install to let the lube set in... but good luck with the install you will love the exhaust.

Impact wrench is probably the best tool use can use. Rusted bolts are no problem. Just be careful not to strip the heads. Have fun.

excellent, thanks. I have my grandfathers compressor with a impact wrench and a air rachet. I figure those will be enough for the job. Can't wait to get it on. From what I've heard, this is a nice sounding system, without sounding like a ricer.

Well, got it on, no real problems. Had a trouble getting the bolts off the cat, but remembered the lube, and then they came right off. Thing sounds awesome. Sorry I don't know how to get a sound clip. Thanks for the help guys.

Well, I've been driving it for a week now, nothing has fallen off, so I guess I installed it right. The sound is great, quiet, yet deep and throaty. No rice :-) The tip has melted part of the bumper were it rubs, but it seems to have melted off pretty much all that was touching, and you can't see it at all. I just scraped it clean and smooth with the pocket knife and its good to go. I just hope the paint doesn't start peeling from that area. Maybe I'll seal it. Noticeable power increase in mid and high rpm range. when I get on the gas to pass someone, the car actually moves now. I am very pleased with this exaust.

Now I wonder if it would be too cheesy to put the GReedy medallion on the back of the car...
