Question High flow catalytic converter question

OK, I have issues. I bought a high flow cat from a reputable vendor (not naming any names), and they welded it backwards. The oxygen sensor bung is placed on the 'out' end. It should be on the 'in' side (as it is with stock). The only way to install was to put it backwards and hook up the oxygen sensor.

Will this cause any problems? Am I going to hurt the back-pressure or blow out the cat or anything?

Obviously, I'm going to contact the vendor, but it's a holiday weekend, so I figured I'd ask on the boards first.

no, and if you have a header it will help you out because the o2 sensor will read a change in tepm and you wont blow a cel. Dont worry about it i have heard of many people just turning around the stock cat to stop the cel from going on.
