Question on the RRM piggy back ECU

Anyone have the one for automatic transmission? RRM's site says that you have to use 91 octane or better. You can't use 87 octane?
I was thinking of getting one if it really improves performance, but at what the price of gasoline costs these days, I don't know if it would be much of an investment to have to buy mid-grade to premium gasolines.

i emailed them a few months ago and you need to use 91. He said that 89 might work, but its your car man.

Thanks man. I'm not going to bother with the ECU then. Will save my money for some other mods/ accessories.

just buy a cheap 3.00 octane booster and put it in when you fill up with low grade gas...it is much cheaper and would raise it way above 91

From what I've read, octane boost is almost useless.

please do not do this...octane booster is nothing more than pointless...put it this way, it would take a lot of cans to make your 87 octane into 88octane hell of a lot more than 1 $3 can...

in the end: do not buy the piggyback if you are not willing to fork up for the gas...dont take shortcuts...its not worth it....

actually i think if you got the lil diamond care road service or towing it does... towing, flat tire change, fuel and fluid delivery, battery jump start, and lock out assistance... thats what it lists on the back of my card anyways
