Has anyone out there done the port and polish cylinder head? RPW offers three stages of it. Does anyone know what is involved with it? how much gains u would get? Or even how much it costs?

I didn't know RRM did port and polishing...

I think Boeturbolancer has it done.

 

i think you are referring to the intake manifold porting

 

I ported my head and it was most effective in conjuction with the rpw stage 2 cam, and forced induction.

 

If you are maxed out na or planning on going turbo do it.
Otherwise I'd say spend the money on something else. There is a low gain in HP per $$$ spent here. You'll get better throttle response and turbo spool but to have it professionally done you're looking at a pretty penny. If you do it yourself, well there's always that chance of going too far and messin somethin up. But keep in mind: low gains, lots of work, lots of money.
