Eh. This has nothing to do with turbo tech. Check local laws on legality. As far as it being cheating... I don't see why it would be cheating unless you competed in a class that didn't allow it. In which case it'd be pretty cut and dry. And since you don't have a location I don't think most of us know what state(s) you're asking about.

I don't think it's illegal anywhere, maybe California, but only because use of nitrous would put out more exhaust gas and that might not pass their emission tests.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in every state to use on the streets. Not definitely sure but I think that's about right.

I disagree, i don't think it's illegal. Never seen an advertisment stating there were possible legal risks, like with Rob and the t.p., and if it were partially illegal they would have to say something like that or lose their ***.

im md if you have nitrous, you need a hazardous label on your bumper indicating that you have nitrous.

IF nitrous oxide were illegal?!... why even sell it. Cause if you go to like automotive shops and stuff,, it's pretty easy to get your hands on a canister. So i really don't think it's that much being illegal, it's just they find it to be kind of dangerous. IF not poperly installed that stuff can blow up your car. Don't get caught with it!... cause you'll be fined to your *** bleeds.

It is illegal in IL...you must have a haz/mat license to carry it and then it can not be hooked up to anything at all..you can get a 500 to 5000 dolla fine for improper or illegal transportation of a hazardous material
