That sounds like 150 dollars over priced even from a dealer. Not worth it even if it's 500, I got the RMR exhaust and really wish I had saved and gotten RRM. Same thing diff prices

650 for the RMR exhaust? Lordy that's expensive. Could almost buy two Buschur catbacks for that price. If (and hopefully soon), I'll be rockin' the Buschur intake as well. Smooth looks and dyno proven. Oh yeah.

Does the RRM hood air scoop make any difference for the RRM intake? What about the heat sheild... i bought the intake before they had the heat shield... should i get one and a hood air scoop?

hmm..seems like this has been covered much.
Of course the hood scoop will have an effect. Seems to me that the positioning of it is the key part, you can place it directly in front of the intake, forcing the atmospheric air (colder) into the intake and also cooling the bay, or you can put it in front of the engine to blow the air onto the valve covers and cool the engine.

so u think the heat shield would help keep the cool air from blowing straight past the intake?

no, the depth of the scoop will negate anything else because it only is 1" deep. If you position it right, (look at pics of mine in the registry) it should be 1" from the entrance to the intake, and the intake should effectively vaccuum all the air that is let into the engine bay. Heat shield will have no effect regarding the air that is let in. If you position it somewhere else the effect is reduced but you will still be cooling down the combustion chamber which is always helpful.
