RRM Intake

I have a question, which intake is better for performance, is it worth the money to upgrade to the AEM or to the RRM Intake?RRM(149$ with carbon shield) or the AEM Cold Air Intake(209$)?

While thinking about future use, if you are planning to turbocharge with the RRM kit then the RRM intake is probably the best purchase. If you buy the AEM or Injen CAIs and then turbocharge, your intake pipe will have to come off and will be replaced with RRM pipes.

To me, my short ram intake gets the job done plus I will be able to use it when I turbocharge my lancer.

yes, Intake adds a nice roaring sound to your exhaust.
My car is loud, I'm not sure if my RRM muffler can handle it!
It makes a loud vibration sound sometimes.

I got a header 4 into1, RRM high flow cat, and RRM Magnaflow muffler with 2.25" pipes.

Loud!!!

Yeah, there really isn't much of a difference between a CAI and a short ram. It's basically cost and preference. My ride felt a little torquier when I had my CAI piping in though.

Test pipe alone will really help on top end power. Hard to feel it low end.

Cool AEM intake or K&N filter?

would getting the AEM intake really boost my HP that much compared to the K&N filter on it right now? would it be worth the money?

Is there a way I can read the directions before I puchase a RRM intake. I saw all the wires and it looks like they have no place to go...and does the standard corrugated rubber boot from the throttle body to the air filter stay in place or is there a replacement with the rrm. Iwish not to have the dealer breathe down my back about the warranty so i want it to look like the rmr intake...hell they cant tell the difference... they didnt know about the part until i threw some part numbers around and now they can order one (Iwas the only who has asked in the bloomington area, since asking the first time a couple more people have been asking)

The want 650 for the RMR exhaust...does that sound right or too over priced

$650 for exhaust. JUST CALL ROAD/RACE. Ask them about intake and their exhaust $269. They are very helpful.
