First off, I apologize if this subject has already been discussed elsewhere, if so all that I ask is that someone show me where because I couldn't find it on this site.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how much horsepower the lancer's engine block can handle, if no one knows, then maybe someone can at least tell me the most horsepower they've ever seen come out of this block.

umm which lancer? The USDM utilizing the 4g94 can safely hold 8 psi stock..good for about 75 whp making it 178 whp. Other mods haven't been attempted but 12 psi should be right around the corner.

The 4g63 that is in the Evo? I believe member JoCCe has the fastest lancer around, pushing out well over 500 whp.
