you can install it yourself, I think there is a thread of someone explaining how-to.

The info on the cams... go to www.visionimports.com and look up camshafts for the Lancer, they have stage one and stage two for N/A listed and 2 turbo cams as well. They are around 400 or so, than if u get stage two u will def need the gear, which is around 200. Dont know how much the valve springs are, and u can get a GReddy emanage for anywhere from 200-500.

If your just going stage one, RPW says you dont need the gear or any ecu upgrade. however if your going stage 2 just have around 1 grand or more to drop so u can get everythign u need.

HC - how does your car hold up to other cars now? have u taken it to the track? is the reason for the idle is lumpy because u dont have the gear? and is your emanage tunned good?

Has anybody seen a loss in low end hp or torqure with the stage 2 cam + gear? Also when upgrading to stage II are valve springs needed or just recommended?

from what i gather.... what is actually a worthwhile mod, and what is just a waste of money. i think thats what he's trying to say.

Hardcore are you saying you felt negligible results from the stage one cam or what? I thought I read somewhere it was an estimate of 10whp depending on mods?

has anyone run the cam and gear without emanage? i was looking to just reflash the ecu and get tuned. is this a bad idea? i was also thinking of sticking to stage I since i can't afford valve springs and emanage at the moment. any opinions? any help would be greatly appreciated.
