hey whats up.....i have a question i was driving my 02 lancer oz yesterday and when i would shift from 2nd to 3rd there was a really bad grinding noise the clutch was pushed in all the way has anyone experienced this before or have any advice as to what i should do thanks!!!!

 

well......... are you sure the clutch was pushed in all the way? is the grinding happening frequently? if so definately take it back to the dealer and have them look at it. i'm assuming you still have warrenty on the car right? have them check it out. thats probably your best bet. there have been instances with bad clutches and transmissions. its rare, but out there.

 

hey....yes i'm positive the clutch is in all the way and yes it's still under warranty......i will definatly be taking it back to the dealer....i noticed your from IL where at in IL you can PM me if you want to talk i'm from IL too thanks again..

 

sounds like the syncros might be bad. i've heard a couple other people bring this up a while ago i think.

 

Where in IL are you? I live in WI, but work right by O'Hare airport. If you're close, I could take a look at your car.
