take the tach, remove it from its box, throw it in the trash because you already have a tach on the OZ. There is no reason for a 5" one,

just look for 'how to install an s-afc' and see which is the 'tach' wire and splice it, the rest of the wires are for ground/power so do with those as u please....plain and simple

hmm, i know it might be "ricey" to have a tach and all, but lately i've been thinking about getting a tach myself only to simply see when i redline..sometimes it's a little hard to focus on the road and look DOWN at your stock tach to see how close you are to the rev limiter...

1) Remove from box
2) Throw away tach
3) Put box tach came in on your dresser so that you realize how you almost made a dumb decision
4) Learn to drive your car, because for those of us who truly know our cars and know how to drive them to their potential, we don't even need a tach at all. (In my best Mufasa voice) Its all done by sound and feel, but dont worry in time you will learn my son, someday all these skills will be yours....

Yeah really, we have a tach on the car, there's no need for a gigantic new one, since we redline at 6k RPM much of it is gonna go unused anyways.

/\ Really, it's all in sound and feeling. Only time I look at the tach. is early in the morning when I don't want to shift over 3k, but even that only lasts for 10 minutes. You just need to learn your car and save your money (really, you will regret it). It is like when you just cruz w/o checking your speed; You know when it feels right. Monster tachs make me laugh just thinking about them! Lemme guess, APC! hahahaha

well considering you only got 3 real answeres to your question, there is also a wire behind the gauge cluster you can tap into wich will prolly be alot closer to your tack

well he's going for the "#1 show-buit lancer in the U.S" so he's not too worried about wasting money on non-performance mods, but if he did buy it for performace driving then i agree with all of the above^^^^^
