i am new to the whole manual scene, in fact i bought the OZ because i wanted to learn manual. after reading the HP vs. Torque thread, i have a few questions:
1. to accelerate the fastest, at what RPM should i release the clutch completely?
2. at what RPM should i shift from the 1st gear to get the best acceleration?

 

If you go to the RMR website there's a link to a dyno that AEM did before and after their cai. You can see for yourself how the torque and hp bands look on a stock Lancer.
