Please HELP emergency

Please guys, i need some help and have to leave soon (if i can get my car fixed). I was installing my headerds till i got to last part, hookin up down pipe to cat, well the top bolt seems to have stripped the first few threads and i cannot get bolt to go in. Any ideas? Please no smart *** comments, i just need help.

try to re-tap the threads and use a new bolt

the only thing i can think of for a quick fix would be to get a slightly smaller nut and bolt and use that for the time being.

Sorry for no reply, i happen to get it rethreaded with a the other bolt and it worked fine. I had to go out of town as soon as i got it on so i couldnt reply. But thanks alot for your help!
