I think it'd be sweet to have race seats in the back, but you'd have to come up with something between them otherwise it'd look pretty darn funny

you wouldnt be able to put them in the back.. the bench seat sits right on the metal.. if you take the seat out.. its like raise 8" or somethin... your seats would be in the ceiling

Just a word of warning... the metal below the rear seat bench is your gas tank... so think twice before trying to cut into it

ok, get an auxiliary tank in the trunk, but use it as the main, cut the bench out and then fab some sheet metal and brackets for the seats

i think that'd be a lot of work just so your passengers have bucket seats....but if you feel like you want the challenge then feel free

Reapolster the back because it is just goin to be too difficult to get the bucket seats back there.

Thats alot of work you go to do there buddy, and unless your making it a full show car, i say you just reapolster the rear seats to make them look the same.

I say reapolster the back seats black. I find the back seats to be very comfortable actually. Post pics once you do either. Either way it should turn out sick man.

so for the lancer, the sheet metal that you see underneath the back seat cushion serves as a base for the seat and the wall of the gas tank on the other side?? i thought it was the sheet metal and another layer of metal that is the tank. can someone verify this??
